Alexander Williamson : Chef de Cuisine

Alexander Williamson brings a lifetime of restaurant experience to Veritas. Williamson started his career at Nick and Toni’s on Long Island, a restaurant devoted to local farmers and fishermen, and a perfect precursor to a stint at Gramercy Tavern under Tom Colicchio.

Williamson also worked at Aureole, Great Bay in Boston, and opened Kittichai. He met Chef Sam Hazen at Tao, who recruited Williamson when he reopened Veritas. Before coming to Veritas, Williamson was Executive Sous Chef at seafood temple Compass.
